SPORTS

Bowling:

Bowling practice begins in late August or early September at Tell City Bowling Center. Area 11 Competition is in November in Evansville.

Singles, Traditional 4 person team, Unified 4 person team, and Ramp bowling are offered.

Basketball:

Sign-up for Basketball begins in December with practice soon to follow. Traditional and Unified teams are offered. Games are played throughout the season with Sectional Tourney held in March. The Perry County Power basketball team was state runner-up in 2003 and third runner-up in the 2004 State Basketball Championships. Last year our Perry County Storm Unified team won 3rd place in State in our very first year.

Athletics:

Track practice begins in late March at Legion Field at Tell City High School. Various walking, running, Unified, and field events are offered depending on each athlete's ability. A local track meet and the Area 11 track meet are held in May.

Horseshoes:

Practice begins in April. Horseshoes is a Master Sport and offered only to athletes 30 years of age and older.

Competition is held in May.

Motor Activities Training Program:

Motor Activities Training Program will be held in conjunction with our athletic practices March through May. These activities are for lower-ability athletes.
